NATIVE LAND TRUST BOARD (Fiji) November 2008 – October 2009
The Fiji’s Native Land Trust Board in November 2008 commissioned Software Factory Limited to design, develop and implement a Land Lease Administration System that will cater for all of its Tenants and Landlord Lease Agreement records. The new LandSoftsoftware offers the facility to cater for Land Resources (Lots & Location), Landowner Details, Tenant Details, Lease Agreement Details, NLTB Charges and Administration Income. It caters for Invoicing of Tenants, Receipting Lease Rentals Due from the Tenants, Collecting Administration Poundage Income for the NLTB Corporation, and Payments of Lease Moneys to Landowners. An extensive Case Management System manages all the different work stages for the Lease Agreements.
For every invoices charged and rentals receipt the system automatically produces financial transactions that are posted directly into its Accounting System. NLTB has a total of 36,000 tenants and 18,000 landowners and a staff complement of about 150.
The four contact persons at NLTB who were instrumental in the initial, and implementation phases of LandSoftare Mr. Alipate Qetaki (CEO), Mr. Tevita Kuruvakadua (Deputy GM Corporate Services), Mr. Epeli Ravula (Manager IT) and Mr. George Ratawa (IT Consultant).
